Have you ever allowed a setback to get you down? We all deal with adversity, but in order to succeed, it’s important to not give up. As real estate investors, hardships are inevitable, so we have to commit to not quitting when things don’t go exactly as planned.
Recently, I read the book The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck by Mark Manson. I know the title is vulgar, but the overarching theme has been invaluable on my real estate investing journey. The book explains that in order to be truly happy, we have to accept disappointment as part of the process. When you understand that things aren’t always going to go according to plan, you’ll be happier. And when you get in that mindset, you’ll be more successful.
In this video, I’ll share how this principle applies to real estate investing. You’ll learn some of the setbacks you might face with your rental properties, and how to get in the right mindset. You’ll learn about the importance of goal setting, building confidence, and the importance of having a broader vision.
